The AI on Demand Platform, or AIoD, is Europe’s trusted gateway for discovering, deploying and scaling AI. It brings together AI solutions, expertise, infrastructure and ecosystem actors in one trusted European environment, helping organisations move from exploration and experimentation to real-world deployment. 

AIoD is designed for AI providers, startups, SMEs, enterprises, public-sector organisations, researchers, innovation actors and ecosystem partners such as EDIHs, TEFs and AI Factories. The platform supports both organisations looking for trusted AI solutions and organisations that want to make their AI products, services or expertise easier to find across Europe. 

You can discover AI solutions, explore European AI providers, find partners, access tools and resources, connect with deployment opportunities, and navigate the European AI ecosystem more easily. AIoD is designed to support the journey from AI interest and discovery toward deployment, testing and scaling. 

The AIoD Marketplace enables users to discover European AI products, services, tools, and infrastructure. It is designed to foster engagement between AI providers, infrastructure operators, and potential adopters by making AI offerings easier to present, assess, and align with real-world deployment needs. 

The Business Navigator helps users navigate Europe’s AI ecosystem. It supports discovery and visibility by helping organisations find relevant AI providers, partners, opportunities and ecosystem actors. It complements the Marketplace by focusing on ecosystem navigation and matchmaking rather than only product or service presentation.

Currently, Marketplace offerings are provided by partners of the DeployAI consortium developing the platform, with a gradual opening to a wider range of European AI providers planned. 

Yes, AI companies can already register in the Business Navigator to gain visibility across Europe and present their offerings. Registration options for additional organisations - such as universities, associations, EDIHs and TEFs - are currently being developed and will be introduced in upcoming releases.

AIoD supports Trustworthy AI by helping organisations assess, document and deploy AI more responsibly. The platform’s trust and compliance approach is built around lawful, ethical and robust AI, including support for risk classification, self-assessment, testing and documentation. 

AIoD provides tools, resources and workflows that can help organisations understand risk, review legal, ethical and operational aspects, generate evidence about AI system behaviour and communicate how systems were assessed and validated. This supports AI Act readiness and responsible deployment, but it should not be understood as a substitute for legal advice. 

AIoD supports the transition from experimentation to production by providing access to European AI models, deployment tools and scalable services. 
Users can leverage high-performance GPU resources and secure supercomputing environments for training and inference at scale. 
The platform also enables sovereign cloud operations with trusted, European-based services designed for reliable and production-ready AI deployment. 

Sovereign AI services help organisations develop and operate AI solutions while maintaining control over data, models, infrastructure and deployment environments. They are designed to support trusted, compliant and independent AI adoption within European frameworks. 

AIoD connects and strengthens existing European AI initiatives rather than replacing them. It brings together research, industry, public-sector actors, innovation hubs and infrastructure providers to help turn AI capabilities into operational impact, supported by tools such as an AI marketplace, low-code development options and secure solutions for generative AI and large language models. 

Core platform functionalities are accessible without cost; specific services may have their own access conditions. 

The research section provides access to European AI projects, results and expertise, making it easier to identify relevant innovations and emerging technologies. It helps users discover research outputs with real potential for practical application and industrial use.

It supports the transfer of research into industry by connecting innovations with organisations looking to deploy AI solutions in real-world contexts. 

The platform is developed within the DeployAI project, funded by the European Union. The platform is under active development, with regular updates, improvements and new features being rolled out throughout the project.
